Merck Serono Research Grants
Fundación Salud 2000 has been holding the Serono Research Grants since 1991. These grants are aimed towards financing unpublished research projects performed by Spanish and Portuguese teams of Researchers in several biomedical areas.
Each grant, which will be granted to a single project in each one of the different research areas, will be worth 20,000 Euros.
The awarding of these Grants is performed by a qualifying Jury made up of representatives of Spanish and Portuguese scientific societies, amongst which are the Spanish Fertility Society, the Portuguese Reproductive Medicine Society, the Spanish Andrology Society, the Spanish Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, the Association for the Study of Reproductive Biology, the Spanish Internal Medicine Society, the Spanish Neurology Society, the Portuguese Neurology Society, the Spanish Immunology Society, the Spanish Endocrinology Society, the Endocrinology Section of the Spanish Pediatrics Society, the Portuguese Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Society, the Endocrinology section of the Portuguese Pediatrics Society, the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the Portuguese Society for of Dermatology and Venereology; and by important figures of scientific relevance related to each one of the areas announced.
Merck Serono Research Grants Announcement, 2010
Health Foundation 2000 announces the nineteenth edition of the Merck Serono Research Grants for 2010.
The Merck Serrano Research grants for 2010 will be aimed at funding unpublished investigation projects presented by Spanish researchers who can conduct their proposed investigation in Spain in the following areas:
- Clinical Investigation into Fertility
- Clinical Investigation into Multiple Sclerosis
- Clinical Investigation into Endocrinology
- Clinical Investigation into Oncology
- Clinical Investigation into Cardiometabolic
- Clinical Investigation into Allergology
- Molecular basis research of Rare Diseases and its clinical implications
Each Grant, which will be granted as a single project for the areas mentioned, shall be 20.000€.
The deadline for receipt of the projects finished 15 December 2009.
